Now that you've seen the coop, and the chickens in their coop and out of it, you might be wondering where Maisie fits into the picture. Oh, right in the middle of it, of course! She's stopped licking the chickens now that they're grown and feathered (and inclined to peck). But she continues to get along splendidly with them, exceeding all my expectations.
In fact, you might almost think she was part of the flock.
She follows them around, sniffs them, and is still trying to figure out exactly what they're all about. They're not bothered by her a bit.
I'm trying to teach her to herd them into the coop when it's time for them to go home. The only trouble is that she'll follow them right in. (She finds their food delicious.)
