Unfurl

Last year, when spring was slow to arrive, I got to share an early dose of colorful foliage with you after a March visit to California. This year, with spring so quick on the heels of a mild winter, somehow I haven't managed to post any photos of the green and growing world until now. Looking over my photos, though, I find that I've captured bits of the transformation. Here are some portraits of the season unfurling, all taken in my yard between March and May.
