Some big changes around these parts lately. Here's the new view from the dining room - a drastic difference from the old window, a narrow, high-up one that afforded a glimpse of the backyard only if I stood on a chair. Maisie is simply beside herself with excitement at the all-day squirrel and chipmunk show right outside the doors. Although I have so far resisted the urge to smear nose prints on the glass while I jump around and bark my enthusiasm, I am very pleased to be able to sit at the dining room table bathed in sunlight and watch the birds flock to the feeder.
